Configure DNS for a DHCP Server Subnet

Use this procedure to configure a DNS address to advertise to clients within a DHCP Server subnet.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane, expand Configuration > IP.
  2. Select DHCP Server.
  3. Select the Subnet DNS tab.
  4. Select Insert.
  5. In Subnet IP, type the subnet network address.
  6. In Subnet Mask, type the subnet mask.
  7. In IP, type the IPv4 address of the DNS server.
  8. Select Insert.

Use the data in the following table to use the Subnet DNS tab.

Name Description

Subnet IP

Specifies the network address of the DHCP subnet.

Subnet Mask

Specifies the subnet mask for the DHCP subnet.

IP

Specifies the IPv4 address for the DNS server that you want to assign to this subnet. You can assign up to eight DNS servers to a DHCP subnet.
